Delete your Mindset FC account

Option 1: Delete it in the app

1. Open the Mindset FC app and sign in.
2. Tap Profile.
3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. You are signed out, and the account cannot be recovered.

Option 2: Send us a request

Use this if you cannot use the app, or if you are a coach or program administrator — those accounts are set up by your program and cannot be deleted from inside the app. Enter the email address on the account. We confirm the request by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting an athlete account removes everything tied to it:

• Your account and profile, including your email address and display name
• Journal reflections — every entry, permanently
• Streaks, points, and all activity history (clips, breathing and focus sessions)
• Notification preferences and device push tokens
• Team membership and program enrollments
• Reactions and read receipts on coach broadcasts

Your sign-in credentials are removed at the same time, so the email address can no longer be used to sign in to the deleted account.

What is kept, and for how long

• A record that the deletion happened. We keep a one-way hash of the email address (not the address itself) and the date of the deletion in our audit log for 7 years, so we can show the request was honored. It contains none of your content.
• Team-level statistics.Aggregate numbers your team already saw (for example a week's total points) remain at the team level. Anything that identified you individually is removed.
• Content published to a team. If you are a coach, broadcasts and program content you published stay with the team so athletes keep what they were sent.
• Records a school requires us to keep. Where a school or district program has a data agreement with us, records covered by that agreement (such as billing) are kept for the period it specifies.
